After the brutal murder of Christian painter Yousaf Masih in Sialkot, his three orphaned daughters were left heartbroken and destitute.
The British Asian Christian Association (BACA) visited the family, offering comfort, prayers, and urgent financial assistance.
Eldest daughter Khushbu (17) dreams of becoming a beautician to support her younger sisters, and BACA has pledged to fund her training.
BACA also plans to hire a lawyer to pursue justice for Yousaf, ensuring his daughters are not forgotten.
On 1st November 2025, a team from the British Asian Christian Association (BACA) travelled to Christian Colony, Sialkot, to meet the orphaned daughters of Yousaf Masih (R.I.P) — a Christian painter who was brutally murdered after going missing for two days in September.
On 11th September, Yousaf’s lifeless body was discovered on a garbage heap, horrifically mutilated and burned with acid in an apparent attempt to hide his identity. His shocking murder has left his three young daughters — Khushbu (17), Meher (9), and Seher (8) — without parental care or financial support.
The girls have since moved into the home of their uncle, Younis Masih (50), who now supports them alongside his own large family. (Read more here)
A Family Struggling but Strong in Faith
During BACA’s visit, the team met with Khushbu, the eldest daughter, who spoke with remarkable courage despite her grief.
“I don’t want to be a burden to my uncle, as he already has a large family to support,” she said quietly.
“I believe in God for my life and the life of my sisters.”
Khushbu had been working in a surgical instruments factory, but left her job following her father’s death. She shared her dream of becoming a beautician, hoping to gain skills that would help her provide for her younger sisters and build a stable future.
To support this goal, BACA has pledged to sponsor her enrollment in a beautician training course, giving her the opportunity to become self-reliant within a year.
BACA’s Compassionate Response
The BACA team provided the family with £100 in financial aid — the first of a series of monthly donations to continue until the youngest child turns 18. This support is intended to replace the income their late father once provided, helping to ensure that the girls can live with dignity while under their uncle’s care. During the visit, the team also offered prayers, counselling, and words of comfort, reminding the family that they are not alone in their suffering.
Younis Masih, their uncle, expressed deep gratitude:
“Khushbu is strong and determined, but this loss has been unbearable. We thank BACA for remembering our family and supporting us when we needed it most.”
Local pastor Ilyas Masih also thanked BACA for its compassionate intervention:
“These children were left with no parental support after the brutal murder of their father. Your help is a light of hope in their darkness.”

Justice Still Eludes the Family
Despite the gravity of the crime, police investigations have made little progress. Younis shared that officers have been uncooperative, pressuring the family to name suspects rather than investigating independently.
“We are uneducated and don’t know anything about legal matters,” he explained.
BACA has committed to hiring a professional and dedicated lawyer to pursue justice for Yousaf Masih and his daughters, ensuring that his death does not go unanswered.
