“Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.” – Matthew 5:5
On 10th August, the British Asian Christian Association (BACA) visited Grace Church, Raja Jung Kasur, following a heartfelt request from Pastor Rizwan Saqib.
Many members of his congregation are elderly brick kiln workers who love the Lord deeply, but struggle to read their Urdu Bibles because of weakened eyesight. Others cannot read at all, yet long to hear the Gospel.
Large-print Bibles are more expensive than standard editions, making them unaffordable for these families who already live under financial strain. Audio Bibles would open the Word of God to those unable to read—yet they, too, were out of reach.

A Warm Welcome and a Sacred Moment
When our team arrived, the congregation welcomed us with open arms. Around 70 people—men, women, and children—gathered for the service. Pastor Rizwan shared an uplifting message from Matthew 5:3–8 on the Beatitudes, with a particular emphasis on verse 5:
“Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.”
He reminded the congregation that if we wish to receive blessings from God and see His promises fulfilled in our lives, we must walk humbly before Him.
After the service, we began distributing large-print Urdu Bibles and Audio Bibles to believers in need, including:

Amanat Masih
-
Sadiq Masih

-

Testimonies of Joy
“Now I can easily read and share the Word of God at the brick kilns.”
— Sadiq Masih, 58, evangelist
Sadiq travels to brick kilns to share the Gospel. His old Bible’s small print was a challenge, but now he can read with ease and minister more effectively.
“The Bible with larger fonts will be easier for me to read. I am thankful to God.”
— Amanat Masih, church elder
Amanat also preaches in villages and brick kilns and says the gift will help him continue his ministry.
“I prayed for an Audio Bible… now I can hear God’s Word anytime and share it with my children.”
— Samina Bibi
Samina cannot read, but with her new Audio Bible, she can listen to Scripture daily and teach her children about God’s love and provision.
A Prayer Answered at the Brick Kiln
During our visit, Pastor Bashir Masih, the church’s pastor in charge, told us about Rani Bibi, a woman living at a nearby brick kiln who had been praying for an Audio Bible.
We visited her home to personally deliver one. With tears in her eyes, she said:
“I am thankful to God for sending you here. I had asked our pastor for an Audio Bible, and now my prayer has been answered.”
The Need Continues
Pastor Bashir has requested more Audio Bibles for his congregation’s uneducated members.
📖 A large-print Urdu Bible costs Rs. 3,500 (£10).
🎧 We need 100 Audio and Printed Bibles to reach more families working in brick kiln communities.
