As you all should know by now BPCA have been holding regular outreaches in Pakistan every March and November for the last two years. Our long term plan is to initiate a theological seminary that will create new Pastors empowered with a better understanding of the bible. For a long while we have been concerned about corruption within existing church establishments in Pakistan and a focus on legalism, rather then the redemption through faith that the new testament delivers.<\/p>\n
Brother Leighton has shared a short reminder of the November outreaches and we invite churches in Pakistan who want to partner with us to contact us and provide potential outreach venues, to fill the few dates we have left during next month. Here is Leighton’s message: The time is soon upon us, when we visit Pakistan in November for another round of ministry. Our focus this time, is not only on the parables of the kingdom, but also the difficult doctrine of \u201cDefinite Atonement\u201d, where we will focus on the sufficiency of Christ. We will also be visiting Kasur, to pray for the new school soon to be built there, plus building relationships with the local brick kiln communities. <\/span><\/p>\n As we approach Christmas, we should be looking to God\u2019s greatest gift to us, the Lord Jesus Christ who came, lived and died so that we may live. I urge a fresh unity amongst our brethren in Pakistan, so that we show the spirit of Christian love to those who are not saved. We must put our differences to one side and acknowledge that we are one in Christ. Luke 11:17 tells us \u201cevery kingdom divided against itself cannot stand\u201d, this is true of the church in Pakistan and across the world. <\/span><\/p>\n
