on 17th December 2017, requires a new prosthetic<br \/>\n    leg.<\/p>\n<p> Her survival is a modern day miracle after shrapnel pierced her body and left her gangrenous and close to death only days later.&nbsp; BACA intervened<br \/>\n    and with some help from God and many of our supporters we were able to save her life <a href=\"https:\/\/www.britishpakistanichristians.org\/BlogRetrieve.aspx?PostID=788602&amp;A=SearchResult&amp;SearchID=1719186&amp;ObjectID=788602&amp;ObjectType=55\"><b>(click here)<br \/><\/b><\/a><br \/>\n    <br \/>At a very early age she also had to have a very painful and intricate operation to join her intestine to her bowel, after shrapnel ripped through her<br \/>\n    body <b>(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.britishpakistanichristians.org\/BlogRetrieve.aspx?PostID=792738&amp;A=SearchResult&amp;SearchID=1719186&amp;ObjectID=792738&amp;ObjectType=55\">click here for video and images but only if you can handle the graphic detail)<\/a>.<\/b>&nbsp;<br \/>\n    Brave Aleeza survived the operation and is now able to dance many years later thanks to all of your prayers and donations <a href=\"https:\/\/www.britishpakistanichristians.org\/BlogRetrieve.aspx?PostID=811025&amp;A=SearchResult&amp;SearchID=1719186&amp;ObjectID=811025&amp;ObjectType=55\"><b>(click here to watch video)<\/b><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.britishpakistanichristians.org\/Aleezali3.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>British Asian Christian Association has been supporting the family and the medical costs for Aleeza, since the deadly attacked threatened to take her<br \/>\n    young life at only 1.5 years <a href=\"https:\/\/www.britishpakistanichristians.org\/BlogRetrieve.aspx?PostID=804902&amp;A=SearchResult&amp;SearchID=1718255&amp;ObjectID=804902&amp;ObjectType=55\">(click here)<\/a><\/p>\n<p>    <iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1280\" height=\"671\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/FVr-Rp6l8LE\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen=\"\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Her last upgrade took place in the month of July 2019 and she was scheduled for an upgrade during March 2020,&nbsp; but the COVID-19 lockdown meant<br \/>\n    she was prevented from travelling to Karachi for medical treatment.<\/p>\n<p>Mother Shamim Bibi, spoke with BACA and said:<\/p>\n<p> <span style=\"color: rgb(79, 129, 189);\">&#8216;Aleeza is growing so quickly and she loves to run around.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(79, 129, 189);\">&#8220;Like most children she hates sitting around so each day without the new prosthetic is a real bane. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(79, 129, 189);\">&#8220;She has outgrown her current prosthetic and this is now causing her irritation, pain and loss of balance.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(79, 129, 189);\">&#8220;she has fallen down and injured herself on more occasions than normal in recent months.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Mr Arif an orthopedic technician said:<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(79, 129, 189);\">&#8220;A timely replacement is important to avoid any complications with her natural growth.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(79, 129, 189);\">&#8220;Most importantly, it also helps Aleeza to continue     with her routine which is good for her mental and physical growth.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p> Mehwish Bhatti, said:<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(79, 129, 189);\">&#8220;The family have asked me to thank our global Christian brothers and sisters for their continual support. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(79, 129, 189);\">&#8220;It is so pleasing to see Aleeza has turned 4 now and is enjoying a full life, the loss of a limb has done nothing to dent her passion for life, liberty, independence or confidence.&#8221;<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<div><b><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Now the lockdown is lifted as soon as BACA is able to fund the new prosthetic limb the family will be travelling to Karachi to have the new limb set in place for a very active young Aleeza.&nbsp;
