British Pakistani Christian Association has secured funding for a series of free gymnastics and Dance classes, for children between the ages of 6-11, for a period of 20 weeks. Read more in the Ilford Recorder (click here)
The classes will help create healthier lifestyles for children from the deprived communities of Loxford and Clementswood Ward, in Ilford. Sessions are funded by the Church Urban Fund within their “Health and Belief” programme.
Coupled with the course will be a series of free health tests and nutritional advice and support. Partner Groups include the North London Health Foundation Trust, Redbridge Healthy Eating and Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Children from families on benefits will take first priority.
