Charity tries to stir up dissension causing more pain to grieving father

A Pakistani Charity has tried to cause friction between the relatives of deceased Christian girl Tania and the British Pakistani Christian Association.

A few days ago Mr Kashif Aslam a freelance journalist sent out a whats app message stating that BPCA had said that innocent Tania Mariyam who was only
12 was raped and drugged during a date.  An act which he states was designed to blight Pakistan’s international reputation – as if the nation of Pakistan needs our help?  This
is totally untrue and was intended to besmirch our work.  He asked for other charities to join him in trying to ‘destroy the BPCA’.

Smug Kashif Aslam tried to bismirch the BPCA

Mr Aslam sent out several very coarse what’s app messages which were also received by Tania’s father.  He sent them to us and we have explained why we used the term date-rape drugs to him. We are in the process of translating the recordings and will also put them up in our next post on this matter.  But I warn our readers the comments are vulgar and full of expletives.

Our report simply stated that a date-rape drug was used in the sordid murder of Tania.  Unfortunately this title is given to the drugs even when
they are used outside of a date.  A simple search on google leaving out the word ‘date’ will clarify this point.   Today our researchers
searched on google using the words ‘rape drug’ and every time the searches provided results for a ‘date-rape drug.’  Thus when BPCA used the term
date-rape drug it in no way intimated that the drug that had been used on Tania was given to her during any date.  Quite the contrary, our officers
research indicated that school friends knew of no-one with whom Tania was in a relationship.  In fact Tania is not described as a secretive girl
and had several friends with whom she confided.  None of these friends believe it was possible for Tania to be involved in a relationship with
any man, without their knowledge of it.

Our Officer Mehwish believes that the most likely cause of Tania’s entrance into a vehicle would have been a teacher advising her of an incident with
her mother, or a student informing her that the school had advised them to inform her of a similar incident.  This is corroborated by the Security
Officers witness who testified that As Tania left the school he was informed by her that she was travelling to see her mother in an emergency.
It was the emergency visit to see her mother that convinced the security officer to permit Tania to leave before the end of school.

It is not unusual for Muslim gangs to prowl schools and attempt to bully Christian and other minority girls to give them sexual favours.  When
girls do not comply they are inevitably raped which is why Christian families pick and drop their daughters to school for safety.   Moreover a
common ploy is for Muslim girls to encourage Christian girls to go shopping or a trip out with them, which then results in the girls being kidnapped
by the Muslim girl’s relatives.  When this happens the Muslim girl who may have been friends with the minority girl for a long time and her mother
can be just as brutal as the men. This is a very usual practice and is highlighted in a report on minority rape and forced marriage written by Muslim
NGO “Movement of Solidarity and Peace

Tania’s father said:

“I am disgusted that anyone could think to target my dead daughter in this way she was a good and devout Christian.

“BPCA have been extremely helpful and I will not let the words of fools undermine my daughters murder case.

“There are too many rogue charities in Pakistan and it is work like that of the BPCA that is helping bring light on the plight of Pakistani Christians.  They have my support.”

Mehwish Bhatti lead BPCA officer on this case said:

“It saddens me that this Mr Kashif Aslam tried to gain profit by undermining our work with the family of Tania.

“After the distressed father of Tania called me I explained the correct situation to him.

“However the evil intent of Mr Aslam shows us the extent that people will go to to keep Christians subjugated.  His words sought to cast aspersions about our work, but it has strengthened our resolve to see justice for Tania’s family.”

“With the family of Tania we are ready for the battle ahead.”
