Qaiser Ayub falsely accused of Blasphemy (original story):

Before starting on  my way back from the Home of Shidrah and her sister, I went to see the family of blasphemy victim, Qaiser Ayub (40 yrs). He was arrested last month from Lahore over an alleged act of blasphemy. Mr Ayub holds a masters degree in computer sciences, and operates a popular blog where it is alleged blasphemous content was published including images counter-Islam.

Muslim complainant Mohammad Saeed filed an application at city Police Station which was registered  as First Investigation Report – FIR no. 105/11, under section 295-C of Pakistan’s Penal Code on June 9th 2011. Mr Ayub went into hiding after the registration of the FIR against him and escaped imprisonment for  a couple of years.

On 14 November, 2014 however, Chakwal police arrested him in Lahore and presented him to court on 15th November in Talagang.

Qaiser Ayub has a wife Amina Bibi and three children 12, 5 and 9 months old. Jabbar Hussian – SP Rawalpindi range is appointed to investigate the case, sources confirmed. Qaiser Ayub is shifted to jail for his judicial investigation. Today the family went to see Qaiser in jail and we will report on any findings.
