A shocked teenager has joined many voices in condemning the recent death threats to 4 school boys suspended from a West Yorkshire school, for allegedly desecrating the Koran. The boys faced death threats and in a video shared by the Daily Express a mother can be seen apologizing for her son, who she describes as a ‘very, very, silly 14 year old’ and ‘has some challenges he suffers from high functioning Autism.’ the public meeting was held in a mosque. A Pakistani Christian student achieved her Duke of Edinburgh scheme (click here), Gold Award at 18 Y/O despite the pandemic lockdown preventing many from achieving their goal. Initially, Hannah Chowdhry (19 yrs) set her heart on simply achieving the Certificate of Achievement, a certificate that recognized participants who managed to complete their Skills, Volunteering and Physical sections at Bronze, Silver or Gold level, but were unable to do their expedition and/or residential because of the pandemic lockdown (click here). A mob of hundreds estimated at 800 Muslims stormed a police station in Pakistan’s eastern Punjab province. The mob managed to snatch a blasphemy suspect from his cell and take him outside  of a police station, where they lynched him. A video that was shared on Tick Tok by an Islamist who threatened to urinate on a Bible in a public place, has caused a lot of hurt amongst Christians. The young nurse was being harassed by her Muslim neighbour for several years and her siblings had often complained about the unwanted interactions of Kamran Allah Baksh, with his parents. A rampant crowd of Muslim students destroyed college property after a teacher was accused of blaspheming against the companions of Muhammed. In video footage obtained from Facebook, students can be seen destroying school buses, chairs, marching through college property chanting Allah-hu-akbar (Allah is the greatest) and ramming huge poles against the colleges boundary fence.  Students as young as 16 could be heard calling for the extrajudicial lynching of the teacher. Visitors to British Asian Christian Association’s ‘Meals for the Needy’ project have a wonderful month of January full of extra treats.  On New Years Day Naomi Chowdhry shared a birthday cake with our regular visitors including asylum seekers, refugees, the homeless and others struggling with the economy.  Read more (here).
