In 2021, Shabir lost his son Usman Masih and daughter-in-law Yasmin Bibi, who were brutally murdered in Kathor Kalan, Wazirabad, by an intolerant Muslim neighbour (click here). In total, 3,898 people were estimated to be sleeping rough on a single night in autumn 2023.
