Severe monsoon floods in Punjab have devastated over 1,600 villages, claiming more than 1,000 lives and leaving millions displaced. Among the hardest hit are Christian communities in Kasur and Lahore, where homes have been swept away by raging floodwaters. Many families are now sheltering in churches or temporary camps, with no food, medicine, or belongings left. BACA is urgently appealing for support to provide food hampers and medical aid to these vulnerable Christian families. Pakistan is once again in the grip of devastating floods, with severe monsoon rains and swelling rivers affecting over 1.5 million people nationwide. In Punjab alone,…

Juliet Chowdhry Travels to Pakistan to Secure First Permanent Safe House Earlier this year, thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we successfully raised over £15,000 towards the purchase of our first ever permanent safe house in Pakistan. These safe houses are vital for offering immediate refuge and security to persecuted Christian families, many of whom face threats to their lives after fleeing violent attacks or false blasphemy allegations. Unfortunately, despite having the funds in hand, we were unable to finalise the purchase at the time as none of our trustees were able to travel to Pakistan. Now, with a…
Raj Bibi’s home in Kasur collapsed during heavy rains, putting her and her family at risk. She now lives in a temporary, unsafe shelter with her son and daughter-in-law. BACA has visited and pledged to help rebuild a safe home. Donations are urgently needed to provide shelter, groceries, and security. On 24th July 2025, a Christian family in Kasur, Pakistan, faced a life-threatening ordeal when their home collapsed during hours of heavy rainfall. Heavy monsoon rains have devastated the Christian village of Ali Ahmad Khan Mari in Sindh, Pakistan. Families have lost their mud homes and are now surviving in makeshift tents with little food. With fields flooded, daily-wage workers have no income and face hunger, disease, and despair. On 19th August 2025, a powerful spell of monsoon rain struck Sindh province, with parts of Karachi recording 145mm of rainfall in a single day. Tragically, nine lives were lost to collapsing walls and electrocution. The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has already warned of further heavy rains in the coming days, raising fears…
In May 2025, 19-year-old Gulfam Masih was brutally murdered in Faisalabad after a minor accident with another motorbike. On 13th August 2025, the British Asian Christian Association (BACA) team travelled to Esa Nagri, Faisalabad, to meet Kishwar Bibi, the grieving mother of 19-year-old Gulfam Masih, who was brutally murdered earlier this year by…
“Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.” – Matthew 5:5 On 10th August, the British Asian Christian Association (BACA) visited Grace Church, Raja Jung Kasur, following a heartfelt request from Pastor Rizwan Saqib. Many members of his congregation are elderly brick kiln workers who love the Lord deeply, but struggle to read their Urdu Bibles because of weakened eyesight. Others cannot read at all, yet long to hear the Gospel. Large-print Bibles are more expensive than standard editions, making them unaffordable for these families who already live under financial strain. Audio Bibles would open the Word of…
On 29th January 2025, Nabeel Masih gave what would unknowingly become his final recorded interview. The conversation was conducted by US-based blogger Daniel Richardson for Lament of Hope, and it captured a rare moment when Nabeel was still in good health. Nabeel’s story is one of extraordinary injustice. In 2016, at just 15 years old—though some early reports mistakenly recorded him as 16—he became the youngest person ever convicted under Pakistan’s notorious blasphemy laws. His “crime” was not something he created or even understood. As an illiterate teenager, Nabeel was tagged in a Facebook post that contained an image considered…

In July 2025, heavy monsoon rains caused the collapse of 65-year-old Shabir Masih’s mud home in Punjab, leaving him homeless and sheltering in a nearby school. Shabir, already grieving the 2021 murder of his wife and only son, now faces the threat of having nowhere to live once the school reopens. We previously shared his story in an appeal, but as we have not yet raised the £3000 needed to rebuild his home, we are sharing it again in the hope of reaching more hearts. Read more (here). BACA has long supported his medical and daily needs, and with your…
