Our main cause for concern were the lack of local events to help foster harmony within the community and create opportunities for community groups and charities in our borough promote their services and gain referrals, to help strengthen the community. A Pakistani Christian woman who had suffered several years of a brutal marriage and was forced to separate from her husband, has been given a notice of eviction from her council property after a landlord got tired of her complaints of anti-social behaviour, linked to the removal of a dilapidated fence. Maqsood Bakhsh, a Pakistani Christian and his family now living in Glasglow, fled Pakistan in 2012 after Islamic extremists targeted him because of his faith. A BPCA supported victim has won her court case against the rapist of her then 2 1/2 year old daughter Saiba who suffered trauma and physical damage that may leave the poor child unable to give birth and have her own family one day.
