A Pakistani Christian man has died whilst in custody of the notoriously brutal police force of Pakistan.  Liaquat Masih (47 years) the victim in this recent devastating police crime had been serving as driver for Raza Hameed the son of Gujuranwala politician S.A. Waqas Masih arrived in Bangkok in 2012 and called across his fianceé, Nomi Waqas, who was the love of his life. Nissar Hussain, 50, a Christian convert from Islam, was invited to speak to Christians at the Eden Christian Centre, High Road, Ilford about his life and the ongoing challenges and trials he has faced as a Christian.  Nissar described how he and his family have lived through the awful experience of persecution simply because they chose to quit Islam. Christians from across the UK converged at Bradford Town Centre on Saturday 5th December to show solidarity with Nissar Hussain. Mr Hussain, an Islamic convert was brutally attacked by two men on 17th November for quitting his Islamic faith in favour of Christianity. The masked men beat Mr Hussain with the handle of a pickaxe, and punched and kicked him during the unprovoked attack. A multi-faith peace vigil will be held in Bradford city centre this weekend.  The event has been organised by the BPCA and Mohammed Fiaz (Ex-Muslim who converted to Christinaity in his teens) in response to the recent attack on Nissar Hussain, one of many converts to Christianity who has faced great persecution for his choice to quit Islam.  They will be joined by the Bishop of Bradford, Toby Howarth.
