A deadly blizzard that caused several avalanches, the likes of which has not been seen in 30 years in Pakistan, killed at least 22 people, including a family of 5 and a family 8. On Friday 7th January 5ft of snow fell down in Murree a popular tourist location to the North East of Pakistan. Pre-notification of large snow fall on Pakistan’s media led to an above average number of visits to famous town. Local parking areas designed by the British in the 1800’s were sufficient for for up to 5000 cars, but over 100,000 vehicles turned up. As snow…

Judge Sahibzada Naqeeb Shehzad, of Sessions Court Rawalpindi made this ruling despite clear evidence of the innocence of Zafar Bhatti. No forensic evidence exists for any blasphemy by Zafar Bhatti, in fact every piece of physical and electronic evidence suggests he is innocent. Zafar Bhatti however was forced into a false confession by police in…

20 families celebrated Christmas in secret in a Bangkok condo by hiring a room as a hall for their worship thanks to donations provided by our donors. His allegations were made to prevent Shama from filing rape charges against him – he escaped the justice system as did over 100 men originally arrested for their murder (click here). Shama and Shahzad (RIP) This year during a…

Our initial figurine project in 2017 was designed around an installation in a grilled entrance to our town hall. When the town hall facilities management team made it extremely…
Across the globe even in countries where Christians are a minority celebrations for Christmas can be seen through discount sales, Christmas trees and festive lights. The celebrations have become more global in recent decades with even Pakistan having a Santa in trains and planes. But this as Christians all know, is not the true message of Christmas and British Asian Christian Association, wanted the original message of hope and salvation to be given to the most vulnerable in our local community. Up until this week when we shared a desperate appeal with all of you, we honestly thought our celebrations…
